- [Instructor] It is important to understand that what is the prerequisite knowledge needed to learn this Apache Iceberg course? The good news is that you just need basic knowledge around the Spark, Big Data and Databricks. In this course, we are going to start from the Apache Iceberg basics and we try to build all that knowledge needed to learn and master Iceberg from practical perspective. Although if you have any knowledge around that Delta Lake or Apache URI, then it will be a plus for you, but again, it is not mandatory. As this course is not just a theory, but a practical driven course, so if you want to practice along, you need to have the Databricks account. And if you're hearing this Iceberg term in itself for the first time, then rest assure we have covered how you can download and set up Iceberg with Databricks.
