Optimizing InMail performance using AI-generated insights

- [Harley] It's a new day and it's time to get to work. Today I'm going to focus on writing to the people I need to reach. So from my homepage, I'll go to the project I've been working on, AI software engineer in New York City. If I were to click on this link, it would open my project in the overview tab. That's fine, but I want to jump right to the active candidates in my pipeline. I open this up. I've landed in my pipeline. I can see that I have 25 active candidates. I would like to focus on the 24 who are uncontacted. Fantastic. I review each profile, take a look at their experience, their education, some other interesting information and activity. And I open their profile, click on the compose message icon, which is this little envelope here, and the compose message box comes up almost instantly. You see that an AI message has populated based on the best practices we have for InMail. The first thing I'll do is review it for accuracy. I'm reading through and I like it, but it doesn't exactly sound authentic to my style, so I'm going to personalize it. I could edit it by hand, but I could also take advantage of this personalize button. Let's do that. When I do, I open up a sidebar and I can see there are filters here. Some of them can't be deselected, but the ones in green have been used, and I can change them. For example, I don't want to call out that this person is open to work right now. I'll deselect that. Scroll to the bottom of my page and draft the message again. This is going to replace my original message, but that's okay. The new message has been written. I close this box. I'm going to actually close this sidebar as well, so I can read on a larger screen. And you know what, immediately, I like this one better because it's shorter, and that's more my style. In fact, I'm going to rate this with a thumbs up so that Recruiter learns from me. Now, I happen to be in California, and this person is in New York. What I'd like to do is schedule this to go out according to their time zone. So I scroll back up to the top of the message and I've got this settings icon right here. Notice I can change the date, which I will do. I'm going to set it for tomorrow. And frankly, I'd like this to go out at the same time in New York, 11:00 AM, in the recipient's time zone. I choose that, I press save, and now we're going to have that go out tomorrow at 11:00, and they will receive it then. The other thing I want to do is really cool. I'm going to scroll to the bottom of my message and find follow up. Check this out. When I open this up, I have the ability to write a message here. And I could do this all freehand. I could use the dynamic tag to fill in their first name and so on. But what I do for myself, and I recommend you do is create a template so you don't have to suffer. You don't have to write that every time. All you need to do is fill in a little space holder to update, and then you can send this out. For example, in this case, I'd say, "Hey, I specialize in recruiting, and I notice that you have great experience." Probably I would say in this case IT recruiting. Okay, great. I can also schedule this one. It right now defaults to one week out, but I could schedule it for as few as three days from now, or as many as two weeks, okay? That's actually what I'm going to do because you may have noticed in the body of that message, it says, "Hey, I heard from you a couple of weeks ago." I press save, and it's ready to go out. If the recipient, Mr. Richardson, does write back to me based on this first message I sent out, the second one will not go out. Let me scroll back up and just say writing individual personalized messages is now so much easier. By the way, if by accident you have cleared your message and you would like help with an AI message, you will have a link here, and you also have the ability to use the star that we've seen in other places to draft your message as well. With the help of AI assistance, you can very quickly reach out to every great candidate one at a time and let them know you really do want to connect to them.
