- [Instructor] So keep in mind that the internet of things has to deal with performance issues, typically ongoing. There's a few reasons for that. Number one, the device has a tendency to be underpowered and the networks have a tendency to be underpowered. So let's look at how we deal with and manage performance. So keep in mind, we have a sensor that is a point that's gathering data. Then ultimately, we have to consume the data from the sensor ongoing. Once the information is consumed, it has to be stored someplace. And then the data needs to be transferred from one place to another, typically from the sensor or the core IoT device so some sort of remote server. We have to deal with information as it's managed on a remote cloud storage server. And then the ability to process that information on the public cloud. Then ultimately, in some instances, respond to that processing. Information that needs to flow back to the censor, and carry on some sort of an adventure of an activity. And…
