- Traditionally, we look at business processes to understand the workflow, the user interactions, handoffs, data flow, and system flows. We draw out the current state and the desired future state processes and do a gap analysis. We also analyze the people, data, and rules the users and systems use. All of this work leads us to creating high-quality structured requirements information. When implementing AI solutions, we still use structured requirements information and business process skills, but with a bit of a different lens. With AI implementations, we are focused on the users and customers viewpoint and the value to them. It's a more holistic focus than just the system update. With AI and digital ecosystems, it becomes more important to ensure the customer and users are better off. Today, making user interactions positive has a bigger focus than ever.
