- You've probably heard of introverts and extroverts before, but not everyone on your team will fit into a specific category or box. Remember, introversion and extroversion are on a scale, and most people will end up being some blend of the two. Someone who falls between introvert and extrovert is known as an ambivert or centrovert. This means that they will have some parts of themselves that are more extroverted and some parts of themselves that are more introverted. This is me, so I conduct full day negotiation and conflict resolution workshops both in person and online, and I do keynote speeches. I speak in front of crowds, and I do a lot of mingling. So people think that I'm really high on the extroversion scale, but the reality is that I'm an ambivert, and social interactions with large groups exhaust me.
