This impact extends beyond numbers, affecting resources, air and water quality, land, and biodiversity. The urgency to address this impact is emphasized by the commitment of over 450 companies pledging $130 trillion through the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero. This commitment reflects the recognition that substantial changes are needed in building practices.
