- Do you ever feel like there's a lot of terminology spinning around the world of design, and as soon as you learn something new, the term is updated or discontinued? Like cars, fashion, even social media apps, approaches to learning design and the terms that support them can go in and out of style. In an attempt to offer the latest and greatest terms related to Inclusive Learning Design and how to differentiate between them, here's some to know. First, learning design in its simplest form is the practice of designing and developing learning experiences and accompanying materials. As designers, we organize instructional content to make it digestible and engaging for the learner.
