"Principles of inclusive design":
Recognize Exclusion: Understand that physical, cognitive, and social exclusions result from mismatched interactions between people and their environments. Acknowledge biases and recognize exclusions to improve awareness and generate inclusive designs.
Learn from Diversity: Include a range of people in the design process to gain diverse perspectives. Observe differences in adaptive approaches to mismatches and understand context, emotion, and motivation.
Solve for One, Extend to Many: Create products for people with various disabilities, which can lead to better experiences for everyone. For example, closed captions benefit not only those with hearing loss but also others in different situations.
