- [Host] Let's talk about some considerations that you should be making when recording and editing your videos for YouTube. First of all, video length matters and it matters a lot. Longer videos are going to earn you more revenue, but they risk irritating the viewer. If you have a video that is eight minutes or less on YouTube, you can only have two ads, one pre-roll out at the beginning, and one end roll ad at the end. If your video is longer than eight minutes, however, you can add as many ads as you'd like, although I don't recommend doing that. Let's take a quick look.
