- Implementing a successful data strategy is crucial for organizations in today's data-driven world. Even more so as the adoption of artificial intelligence, AI, becomes more widespread. However, executing a data strategy comes with its fair share of challenges. I will share some of the common challenges that I have witnessed in my years of experience in data strategy execution and discuss methods to address them effectively. The goal here is to help you overcome obstacles and achieve successful data strategy implementation, avoiding some of the common mistakes. Nothing stops a data strategy execution dead in its tracks quicker than having a lack of executive support. Without their buy-in, it becomes difficult to allocate resources, secure budgets, and drive organizational change.
