- You can customize your presentation in Google Slides by using different themes, templates, layouts, and backgrounds. In this video, I'm focusing solely on the background. The background can be a color or an image behind your slide content and you can change the background of one slide or the whole presentation. In the Choose Your Colors video, I talked about different color applications, depending on whether you're working with a set of branded colors from a company style guide, creating a custom color palette or going with the theme or template colors provided by Google Slides. Regardless of your situation, you should avoid a few color choices.
