- Emotions are the intangible benefits of a product or service engagement. It's how you make somebody feel when they use your product or service. You know, sometimes those emotions, they're really obvious. We can see things like happiness and joy, but sometimes they're a little bit more implied. There are things that maybe they didn't even know that they were feeling. So, let's apply this to our golf ball company exercise. Take it back to the wall and look at how the divergent thinking and convergent thinking exercise will lead to some emotional resonance, come on. So, our job is to start to translate the human experience of our golf ball company into the emotions that our customers have when they use our product, right? And you don't have to be too rigid when you go through this exercise, you don't have to list out actual emotions.
