Accelerate formatting with the right mouse button
- [Instructor] In Excel, we use the right mouse button primarily for shortcut menus. But we can also use it in a different way, by dragging data. On this worksheet called Profits, I'm going to change the format in cell B3. What I want to do here is make it bold. I'll make it italic too, and also apply a font color, that's going to be different: blue. So let's imagine that I like that. I want to copy it to the other cells. Now, I certainly could have highlighted all those to begin with, and done it all at once, but maybe I did this, or maybe I just opened this and happened to see it. We can copy a format, by dragging the fill handle with the right mouse button. Now I'm not copying the data here. I'm dragging to the right, using the right mouse button.
