- [Instructor] To get the fullest value out of our data modeling, we need to establish relationships among our data so that we can filter it, slice it, perform calculations, and interpret what it is that it's telling us. Allow me to illustrate this with an example. I'm going to open up a brand new workbook called Book 1. I'll go over here to my data ribbon, all the way to the left to Get Data, From File, From Excel Workbook. First, I'm going to point us to H+ Employee Personal Details. Power Query opens up this navigation window. Here's the name of my file. Here's the name of my worksheet. Even though the data looks pretty good, I'm almost always going to go down here to transform data so that I can get a better look. Alright, now we have our data imported in here, but because I'm going to import this into a data model, I almost always make one more addition to the name of my query. I'm going to go _tbl, table.
