Add a trendline to a PivotChart

- [Instructor] When you analyze data using a pivot chart, you should pay close attention to the individual values within your dataset. Even so, it's often beneficial to take a step back and look at the overall trends in your data. You can enhance your analysis by projecting future values, assuming current trends stay constant, by adding a trendline to your pivot chart. And in this movie, I will show you how to do that. My sample file is 06_07_Trendline, and you can find it in the chapter six folder of the exercise files collection. In this workbook on sheet one, I have a pivot chart that displays quarterly sales data and it uses a line chart to do that. When I look at the data, I see that there is a significant seasonality, that is the time of year affects sales with the highs in quarter number one and the lows in quarter number four.
