- [Presenter] Excel is a great tool, of course, for building Excel models and understanding what's going to happen to a business over time, but it's also a great tool for displaying that information to other users. Let's take a look at an example of how we can do this effectively using Excel and especially in combination with PowerPoint. I'm in the 04_04_Begin Excel file. So I've got my data for FactSet 2.0 as we're calling it, and this is basically just a monthly projection based on our costs and then our number of users and how that translates into revenue over time. So I want to go ahead and I'm going to do a fairly basic graph. We're simply going to look at the level of revenues over time as they grow for users, and then the associated user fees. And to do that, I'll highlight that data, I'll click insert, and there's a number of different graph options we could do. I'm going to start with something very basic like this 2D bar graph.
