- [Instructor] Another type of schedule that you might need to include in a financial model or if you're building financial statements is a depreciation schedule. In this movie, we are going to calculate monthly depreciation, which will give us a little bit more practice using the SLN functions, logical functions, as well as working with cell referencing and dynamic arrays. Then in the next movie, we will turn it into a monthly depreciation schedule down here, so the list of assets that we've got here is quite long, and I want to be able to see my headers at the top. So I'm going to go in and freeze panes. So that means that the headers will always remain at the top. So we'll start out with using the SLN function. So we'll go in and put in the cost, the salvage value, and the life. There we go. So that is the first part. We then need to divide it by 12 to make it a monthly calculation, and then we need to wrap the if statement around it so that the depreciation doesn't start until the…
