- [Instructor] Whilst Excel online is a feature-rich and powerful product, there are some limitations when compared with the desktop app. However, did you know that many customizations can be performed using Excel desktop? With those changes being retained when you jump back to Excel online, let's take a look at how. Make sure that you're on the dashboard worksheet and then select the expenses composition chart. If we now select the chart menu that appears, you'll see there are a few different functions and features that we can apply. However, changing the layout or the design of the chart isn't one of them. But if we go ahead and jump into the Excel desktop app, we can actually make quite a few additional changes. Just click on the dropdown box next to editing here, and then select open in desktop app. And it should only take a couple of moments for the file to open in the desktop app. All we need to do now is go back to the…
