- [Instructor] Annotating cells in Excel online can be achieved in one of two ways, notes and comments. The key difference between the two is that notes can't be used to collaborate whereas comments can be. Let's take a look at how. Say that we're concerned about the low profit result here in January, 22 and we want to flag this with a stakeholder. To do this, let's right click on cell I9 and then select new comment and type in some relevant text such as what's going on here. Now, you won't be able to replicate this next step but if I type in the @ symbol, I can then tag a collaborator for feedback. On this occasion, it's Jennifer Dawson who I need to provide some feedback. So I'm going to start typing in her name, then select her and then click on post comment. Awesome.
