- [Instructor] Whenever anyone talks about analytics, they invariably refer to dashboards. Search any stock photo site for analytics, and you get a myriad of photos of people looking at dashboards. The reason is this: dashboards are the point of entry for many people and it's the first place you see when you log into your analytics. Ideally, the dashboard shows you key information that you need to get an understanding of your status and progress on goals and KPIs. Additionally, creating dashboards for other users can be helpful for them to get the data they need without going through you. This can include senior execs for tracking high-level KPIs and North Star data, as well as revenue info and subscriptions. Marketing department can see data based on segments and referrals. Developers might want to find errors and other technical issues like performance and load time. Finance can find lagging data, like subscriptions and retention rates, but also use leading data to forecast revenue.…
