Using the right resolutions for web - Photoshop Tutorial
From the course: Creating Optimized Graphics for the Web
Using the right resolutions for web
- When we talk about resolutions for web, you could use several different sizes, and if you look at Photoshop's recommended sizes, which I'm sure has been researched, you can see resolutions for web large at 1920x1080, all the way down to web minimum at the 1024x768, and the average I've used in most cases in the past is 1280x720. It all depends on your needs and the type of website you're building, but if you stay within those resolutions, such as the one that we see here, you should be fine for web performance, and by the way, this is where you see the pixels per inch. So the resolution for web is usually 72, but if you want to have more resolution inside of your image, you can go up to 300. So let's move on.
