Email marketing is one of the most powerful tools you have to keep your customers coming back for more. Post-purchase automations are one of the strongest triggers towards increasing overall lifetime value and purchases per customer. In short, they can help make some serious cash. In this lesson, you'll learn the most effective and lucrative post-purchase messages you can send. Typically within the email marketing industry, when you say post-purchase messages, we're talking about marketing messages. But I do want to pause for a moment and call out confirmation and shipping messages. Those messages are transactional, which means about 80% of the content should strictly be about the purchase that was made. Often these messages are overlooked but account for a huge portion of overall email sales.
