- [Kevin Wallace] We're all surrounded with network devices. Some might have a cable that plugs into a wall jack, many are probably wireless but they're networked nonetheless. Of course, there are a plethora of companies that make networking gear but Cisco Systems has a dominant market share when it comes to enterprise network devices. Now in this course, you're going to begin learning the foundations of Cisco networking and that networking in general. Specifically, this course, you'll learn some of the basic network components that you're likely to run into and I'll introduce you to a collection of popular networking protocols and wiring standards that empower our networks to do a bunch of really cool stuff.
