Configure a router interface

- [Instructor] In our previous video, we password protected our router. Now we're back into privilege mode, and we want to configure an interface to connect out to the rest of the network. Specifically, I have interface gigabit zero slash one connected to a switch, which connects to my ISP, my internet service provider. And let's go into interface configuration mode for that interface. We'll say comp T short for configured terminal. Then we'll go into interface configuration mode by saying int, short for interface gig zero slash one. And one thing we might want to configure is the speed. We can say speed space and give a question mark. That's going to give us context sensitive help. It tells us what options are available at this point in our configuration. In other words, what options are available after we say speed in interface configuration mode.
