Data discovery is the process of visually navigating data to find patterns and insights. It helps the user to go beyond standard visualizations and discover new patterns and insights from the data. Data discovery uses text and visual storytelling to lead the user through the journey of discovery. It helps users build storyboards based on the analytics they do. Interactive dashboards play a key role in helping users navigate complex data sets. Visualizations supported by data discovery products tend to be flexible to all users to create their own representation of the insights they have discovered.
