Benefits of using a CMS
- [Presenter] So imagine this. The owner of a local coffee shop comes to you. They say they need a website and they want to be able to switch out photos on the website and they want to be able to make small changes to their text, and they want to have access to the content whenever they need. So how would you approach this website for your local coffee shop? Let's go ahead and talk about some benefits and trade-offs for this scenario. So for the client, we do know that they want to be able to edit themselves, so that's a benefit. They feel good about being able to take charge of this product that they're purchasing from you. The trade-off there is that they may break the site. So maybe they put too much text content and it throws off the layout, or they upload a file that isn't compatible with the website for some reason. That's one of the trade-offs, right?
