- So far in this course, we've already talked about the concept of a subscription where everything that you create in your Azure environment is in your subscription. As well, in the previous video, we looked at creating resource groups, and how we can then organize our resources inside of resource groups. This concept of hierarchy in an Azure environment is very important. The ability to organize all of your resources in a meaningful way is also very important since you can quickly create a large number of resources, and they can really get out of hand. You may not know which resources are still current, which ones are being used for what function, and so on. Therefore, it's very important to always manage the organizational aspects of your Azure environment on top of also managing the resources themselves.
