Enable Multi Factor Authentication for a User
- [Instructor] In a previous video in this course, I created a user, a member user in my tenant. Now, I would like to enhance the security for that user. And when I say enhance the security is I want to ensure that when the user signs in to my tenant, I want to make sure that that user uses multiple forms of authentication. Multiple forms of authentication, being that they must have a username and password. So that's one form of authentication plus a second one. That second form of authentication can be through an authenticator app. It could be through a pin on a mobile phone. The user has many different choices as to what that second form of authentication would be but I want two forms of authentication. This is a great way to ensure that your Azure resources are as secure as possible and that malicious users are unable to use a very simple username and password potentially that a user has left unsecured in order to access…
