- [Narrator] The AWS Compute Optimizer is a powerful new set of tools that can help you to reduce costs and improve performance for your workload. Again, this is all around EC2. So you can see by this diagram that the Compute Optimizer will identify optimal AWS compute resources for your workload. It'll scan the infrastructure and identify optimal compute resources. It'll identify workload characteristics and profile based on the data gathered and will match the resource requirements of the workload to optimal AWS compute resources. And these include EC2 instance types and EC2 auto scaling group recommendations. It'll help you to visualize with what-if scenarios based on the recommendations. So the Getting Started section here of the documentation is really pretty good because it takes a while, as I've been trying this out, to return any results. And I really haven't turned my account on long enough to see anything…
