- [Instructor] In this lecture, we'll learn the anatomy of an Amazon Virtual Private Cloud. A human body is made up of varying parts and different systems. It has a skeletal system that revises an internal framework of the human body, a digestive system for the intake of food and excretion of waste, and a nervous system to control other bodily systems. In the same way, an Amazon VPC also has far as interconnected components that allow it to do many functions. It has an internal framework that is composed of a route table, several subnets and a CIDR block, a collection of gateways that allow incoming traffic to go in and return the outgoing traffic and a management system that enables the control, connection and integration to other VPCs or AWS Resources.
