As a cloud administrator, automating manual and repetitive tasks is important to remove the heavy lifting on deployment, maintenance, and resource management so teams can focus more on developing the business. Automation accelerates the delivery of resources and applications by automating these manual and repetitive processes that can be prone to issues in production environments. One common example is when you want your managed instances to restart when a system status check fails. This usually means there is an issue in the underlying hardware provisioned to you by AWS. You can either wait for AWS to get involved to fix the issue, or you can resolve it by restarting the instance, which will migrate the instance to a new host and resolve the issue.
