Loft a surface between contours
- [Instructor] In this project we sculpted a surface and then later sliced it to generate contours. Oftentimes the situation will be reversed. You'll begin with a series of contour lines, perhaps from a civil engineering drawing, and then you'll be expected to create a surface from that information. So, I'd like to show you how you would proceed in that situation. I'll start by erasing this node surface, and we're left just with the contour lines that we made earlier. Now, I want to make an adjustment to these contour lines. This one here kind of curves back on itself. This would look better if this contour line continued over and met up with the end of the wall over here. So, I'm going to draw in a line and snap it here, (clicking) and then use the trim command, tr, enter, select that line as the boundary edge, enter, and then click on this portion of the curve to cut away. Get rid of the line, (clicking) and then let's set layer zero as the current layer. (clicking) That's the layer…
