- [Scott] Now that we have all the 2D information arranged as it needs to be it's time to take a closer look at that 2D information. Think all the elevations and sections look good. But I notice in the first floor plan that we have certain elements that we don't need such as these door tags for example. We also have different text items here, room tags. We have window tags as well that we should eliminate and this will by a typical situation in any complicated CAD drawing you're going to have a lot more information than you need strictly to build the 3D model. You just want to start with geometry, the geometry defining the walls, the windows, the doors, et cetera. You don't want to have any extraneous information like text or attributes in here. So we should take some time to clean the drawing up, and a good way of doing that is to examine your drawing in detail and I recommend using the Lay Walk tool for this purpose, and its located on the Layers dropdown here on the panel and its…
