- Once you've identified where AI agents can be beneficial, the next step is aligning these capabilities with user needs. This is where the rubber meets the road, matching the right AI functionality with the problem your users face. Start by digging into what your users really want. So number one, identify user pain points. Use surveys, interviews and data analysis to uncover repetitive, time-consuming or even complex tasks that users struggle with. Then map the AI capabilities to these needs. So consider how different types of AI agents, whether it's a simple reflex agent or a more complex utility-based one, can address these challenges. For instance, if users have trouble managing schedules, then a goal-based AI agent could help by autonomously setting up meetings and managing calendars.
