Targeting options to avoid
- [Presenter] LinkedIn, like most ad platforms has a lot of different options. Some of those options are not always conducive to your best performance though, except under some advanced circumstances. So I'll walk you through the options that you probably want to start out by avoiding. The first is geography. The very first option that LinkedIn asks you when you create a campaign is about where you want to start targeting. The default way to target a location is called recent or permanent. Usually, I recommend switching this to permanent because that, means you're only going to be targeting those who say that they live there in their profile. With recent or permanent. You might find that, let's say you're targeting North America, you might find that you're getting some leads from other areas of the world because someone took a trip to New York City one time in the last few months.
