The Institute was a design studio, dedicated to creating learning experiences rooted in the principles of game design and to supporting teachers who wish to make learning irresistible. Major backers included The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.

The New York French American Charter School is the first bilingual biliterate French/English public school in New York City.

As head of the technology, I was responsible for helping the school develop and implement a technology plan to support 200 students from Kindergarten to 3rd grade.

As head of the technology, I was responsible for helping the school develop and implement a technology plan to support 200 students from Kindergarten to 3rd grade.

Significant accomplishments included:
- Creation and implementation of phone and internet infrastructure including cabling of 4-story school building to support e-learning in every classes.
- Sourcing, through donations, of computers and networking equipment for all classes in the school.
- Development and implementation of a content-managed web infrastructure.
- Launch of multiple emailing lists to support each classes individually, each grade individually, and the school as a whole.
- Creation of standardized approach to document handling, student tracking, performance tracking, student and teacher evaluation, and course-work sharing. Show less

With other advisers, reviewed and shaped the presentation program for this yearly conference organized by O'Reilly and Techweb to present the latest and greatest innovation in the social, internet, and mobile space.

Helped create an advocacy group advocating the use of inline skates and the development of legal street skating in New York City. The largest part of our effort was the development of one of the largest weekly inline skate event in New York City, frequently bringing in hundreds of people on Wednesday night to skate on a 10 miles trip through the city. Worked with other volunteers to manage crowd control and ensure that all participants could safely run trough the whole course. Also worked on ensuring that participants who get hurt would be appropriately taken care of, either through first aid treatment or dispatching of ambulances when needed.

Built web site and communication effort to ensure cooperation and collaboration with similar efforts around the city, the country, and the world.

Worked with members of the press to ensure appropriate coverage and marketing of our event. Show less

Pulled cables through ceilings and connected them to computers in the school.

Init.ai was a company building smart chat agents. It was acquired by Apple in May 2018.

Nivo was an organization engaging youth through online sports challenges.

The Dorsai Embassy provides consulting services and hosting services to non-profit organizations, helping them develop technological capabilities.

In the early days, the main focus of my work was on educating non-profit in how to use the internet. As knowledge of the internet became more common, my focus turned more to customer service, PR, and general communication support.
