“"When Lance is into your company and wants to invest in it, take it." This is my usual advice to other founders considering working with him. I have worked with Lance since 2020, when he participated in Stadium Live's seed and co-led the Series A. Lance's involvement has been pivotal to Stadium Live's journey as we strive to find PMF and scale as a young sports & entertainment startup in this vast industry. These are some traits I love about working with Lance: 1. He executes & follows through: Lance's reliability is a rare gem in the tech world. He doesn't just make promises, he delivers on them every single time. This level of consistency is a testament to his commitment and reliability. I have never seen him miss things! 2: He is well-connected and has a positive impact on the sports industry: Lance's extensive network in the industry has opened doors for us that we never thought possible. His connections have sparked meaningful conversations about fundraising and partnerships, giving us a new sense of optimism and potential for growth. It also seems like he has a great working relationship with everyone in the industry. Being likeable by founders, fellow investors, and operators is a fantastic feat to have. 3. He is passionate, positive and collaborative: We collaborate through moments and ideas more frequently on WhatsApp/Text daily versus having quarterly board meetings. He is a power user of the product he invests in, very curious, and wants to be helpful in any way possible. This means a lot to the founders, as you have someone who gets your product and simultaneously supports you. I am forever grateful I got to meet Lance, and I look forward to continuing to work with him. If you're a founder or an operator, take that call with Lance ;)”
