Installed and implemented an EMC VNX 5400 solution coupled with Cisco UCS C series servers and VMWare then migrated South Texas Healthcare off of their existing HP LeftHand SAN and HP Servers to the new infrastructure.

Replaced aging and failing infrastructure with new technology, including: VMWare, Cisco UCS Blades, Cisco Nexus 5548 switches and a NetAPP 3220.

Convert physical machines to VM Ware virtual machines and upgrade for Convergys as well as upgrade the existing clusters from 4 to 5 ESXi. I also consulted on other IT subjects in order to lessen their work loads.

Consult with construction contractors to ensure that necessary building improvements are made for IT infrastructure, supervise and ensure that infrastructure was put in correctly and efficiently. Personally configured network equipment and ensured that the new clinics were ready to operate at full functionality on opening day, including the companies chartless initiatives.

Convert existing dental clinics to digital X-Ray systems, and paperless charts.

Brought in competing network vendors that provided lower costs on new circuits with high bandwidth rates which we utilized on new circuits which also allowed us to renegotiate our contract with Logix which saved us over $300,000.

Migrated off Logix' MPLS solution to our own in house GRE/VPN solution so that when we opened clinics in markets not covered by Logix, they could be added into the network. This also achieved a $36,000 per year savings.

Migrated our mail server from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010.

Upgraded the active directory domain functionality level from 2003 to 2008 r2.

Migrated our infrastructure to a redundant VM Ware infrastructure.
