Defining, developing and implementing security, governance and user best practices, policies and procedures for the Microsoft Power Platform.

Engineered, designed, documented and deployed a large-scale 16-node Hyper-V virtualization cluster running on IBM BladeCenter hardware and an IBM System Storage SAN solution. I worked directly with the client to create the large-scale cluster from the ground up while also configuring Windows Server Cluster Aware Updating and performing VMWare to Hyper-V server migrations.

Designed and deployed a four server implementation of Microsoft's Direct Access, a Unified Remote Access system. The infrastructure comprised of four servers configured in the DMZ to allow for always-on and forced-tunneling VPN connections for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 workstations.

As the Global Office 365 Usability and Adoption Evangelist I was tasked with improving the user experience and user adoption levels for Office 365 in a global, heavily regulated, financial services environment of more than 15,000 employees across six continents. While engaging with Microsoft, the internal security team, and executive leadership I crafted an Office 365 MDM, MFA, and Always-On VPN strategy while also performing an extensive usability study. By the end of the efforts, we were able to find the right balance between security and usability at the global scale. During the six month initiative, we achieved more than a 400% increase in user adoption over a six month period worldwide, which was more than double the initial goals. Show less

Lead and managed Windows 7 desktop deployment and forest migration for a global benefits provider with more than 60,000 end users worldwide. Roles Included architecting, documenting and managing build, script and migration processes and procedures. Included extensive work with GPO creation, management and compliance.

Engineered, designed, documented, developed and deployed an Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS) single sign-on infrastructure for use by a global customer. I also designed and provided the documentation needed to roll the environment out into production, which the client did after several months of additional testing.
