    Atlanta Daybook, June 21, 2012 - The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) announced its Man & Woman of the Year Saturday night at their campaign’s Grand Finale at the Loews Atlanta Hotel. Fourteen local community leaders—four men and ten women– have been competing with each other for the last ten weeks to raise the most money for LLS. In its fourth year, the event raised a record $575,000, more than $100,000 more than last year’s event.

    Atlanta Daybook, June 21, 2012 - The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) announced its Man & Woman of the Year Saturday night at their campaign’s Grand Finale at the Loews Atlanta Hotel. Fourteen local community leaders—four men and ten women– have been competing with each other for the last ten weeks to raise the most money for LLS. In its fourth year, the event raised a record $575,000, more than $100,000 more than last year’s event.

    This year, Bill Price won the Mission Award; the award to the candidate that demonstrated exceptional mission integration into their campaign. Ellie Chin was awarded the Community Award; the award to the candidate that facilitated exposure in the community and built a strong program and team.
