  • SPP is pleased to announce two new leadership appointments. Effective September 2, 2025, Emily Shuart will serve as senior director, external affairs and stakeholder relations. On August 4, 2025, Carrie Dixon will assume the role of technical director, market policy and operations. Emily previously served as director of federal, RTO and environmental affairs at Oklahoma Gas & Electric Company. At SPP, she'll lead engagement with government officials, legislators, industry organizations and stakeholders. Carrie currently serves as principal, market policy and in her new role will lead the coordination and development of market policies in alignment with SPP’s goals, tariff and other governing documents and the evolving national regulatory and industry landscape.
