This past Friday, Pond proudly celebrated the ribbon cutting of the newly completed Port Wentworth Fire Station headquarters in Port Wentworth, Georgia. As the design architect, Pond delivered a 15,000-square-foot facility that supports administrative functions, on-call crew living quarters, four apparatus bays, and emergency operations capabilities, all tailored to meet the city's growing needs. From the seismic zones of northern Japan to the arctic extremes of Alaska, the Indo-Pacific is home to some of the most remote and challenging environments for military infrastructure. Under the PACAF FSRM Execution Initiative, Pond has completed more than 160 projects across these isolated bases—some nearly 5,000 miles from the continental U.S.—delivering critical upgrades to airfields, dormitories, refueling systems, and more. Rapid design cycles, local insight, and close collaboration with civil engineer squadrons have been key to meeting mission demands in places where delays pose operational risks. Explore how Pond is helping PACAF stay ready, no matter the distance: https://lnkd.in/ejQSaKxF. #PowerofPond #60YearsofPond

July marks #ParkAndRecMonth2025 — a time to recognize the vital role parks and recreation play in shaping vibrant, healthy communities. Pond is proud to partner with local governments to create spaces that inspire growth, connection, and activity. From greenways and community centers to inclusive playgrounds, each project reflects a shared vision: Build Together, Play Together. This year’s theme underscores the collaborative spirit behind every park and recreation initiative. These places are more than just amenities — they’re essential infrastructure that supports mental health, strengthens communities, and fosters lifelong memories. As more than 276 million people in the U.S. visited a local park or recreation facility last year, the value of these spaces has never been clearer. Yet nearly 100 million people — one-third of the population — still lack access to the benefits parks and recreation provide. Pond is working to close that gap. By designing and delivering thoughtful, community-driven solutions, Pond is committed to expanding access for all — providing families with spaces to gather, neighbors with places to connect, and children with room to grow. Because Pond doesn’t just build in these communities — Pond lives, works, and plays in them. #PowerofPond #60YearsofPond #ParksAndRecMonth #BuildTogetherPlayTogether
