We talk a lot about trust in payments, but sometimes, it's the human side of the experience that really drives it home. I was traveling with my family for Passover, two strollers, full bags, the usual chaos, and we jumped into a Lyft heading to JFK. When we got to the airport, I realized my wallet was missing. In the rush, we made it onto the flight, hoping it would turn up somewhere. Fast forward to our return, and I come home to a package containing my wallet and a kind note. The Lyft driver had found it in his car, took the time to package it, and mailed it back to my home address. This moment is a reminder of two things: 1. Humanity: New Yorkers look out for one another! 2. True customer service: It goes way beyond the job description. This driver went above and beyond, and it made a real difference.
