Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending a fantastic event in London supporting Care Packs, a mission-driven organisation led by my former GSK colleague Jay Rohman. Care Packs is doing vital work providing everyday essentials to those experiencing poverty — a cause that truly resonates with me and my team at LanceSoft, Inc. In the UK today, over 14.4 million people are living in poverty (including 4.2 million children). With the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, essentials like food, hygiene products, and warm clothing are sadly out of reach for far too many. Initiatives like Care Packs bring dignity, relief, and hope right where it’s needed most. Knowing that Lancesoft played even a small part in supporting this effort brings a deep sense of fulfilment. We’re ultimately a people-first company, and we believe everyone deserves an equal opportunity to live their best life. Shout out to Dr. Colin Williams who reminded us that it wasn’t a race to pack the boxes 🙈 but if it were, think we took gold 🤣 Huge thanks to the Allegis Global Solutions team for sponsoring and organising such a meaningful event.
