🏆 BIG NEWS! Today, Fast Company named Husk Power one of the 50 Most Innovative Companies in the World, alongside leading global brands like NVIDIA and YouTube. Even more mind-blowing -- we were ranked #1 in the energy category, and #24 overall. #FCMostInnovative This recognition is testament to the passion and dedication of the entire Husk team of more than 600 people, who made this honor possible. The journey would also not have been possible without the long-standing support of our investors, shareholders and partners, whose support has been critical in our success over the past 15 years. Husk's innovative business model for community solar minigrids, powered by artificial intelligence (AI), is laying the foundation for prosperity in rural and peri-urban Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia, regions that have long been unserved and underserved. These communities are the most climate vulnerable in the world, and Husk is proof that minigrids not only offer a green path to economic development, but also a path to climate resilience. Our CEO Manoj Sinha commented: "Community solar minigrids powered by artificial intelligence (AI) are key to ending energy poverty for hundreds of millions of people in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia and unlocking the potential of an entire generation, especially women and youth. What’s it really like to intern at Husk Power? This summer, we welcomed students from some of India’s top engineering colleges, and for them, it was so much more than just working on real projects. It meant taking ownership, solving real world problems, and learning how to build with purpose. From designing data pipelines and deploying IoT systems to optimizing solar solutions and improving customer experiences, they stepped into roles that challenged them and helped them grow. But what truly set their experience apart? 🔹 Mentors who trusted them 🔹 A team that challenged them 🔹 A mission that inspired them 🎥 Hear directly from our interns — how they navigated ambiguity, found clarity, and discovered their voice in the process. Because at Husk, we don’t just shape interns. We shape future leaders. #LifeAtHusk #FutureLeaders #Internships #WorkWithPurpose #CampusToCorporate #CleanEnergyCareers #HR #People

In Nigeria, motorcycles are everywhere. From the side streets of Dutse in Jigawa to the quiet rural paths of Enugu, they keep people moving, businesses running, and life flowing. Husk Power is backing the journey with electric motorbikes powered by clean, renewable energy, because the fumes and rising fuel costs are overdue for disruption. These e-bikes are being tailored for the riders who rely on them most. As part of a recent pilot, Husk Power worked with local technicians to keep these bikes road-ready and rider-friendly. Three young mechanics from the community got hands-on training—learning how to fix ignition issues, carry out maintenance every 3,000 km, and keep chains running smoothly for the long haul. This isn’t tech for tech’s sake. It’s about practical solutions that lower costs, cut emissions, and create jobs. Swipe through to read more on why this matters now. And drop a comment—how is sustainable transport showing up in your corner of the country? #HuskPower #CleanEnergy #ElectricMobility #GreenTransport #SustainableAfrica #EnergyForDevelopment #Ebikes

🌍 Tracking SDG 7: Decentralised Energy Holds the Key The 2025 Energy Progress Report has just been released—and the situation remains stagnant -- 666 million people are still waiting for electricity. Most of them live in remote, underserved areas where traditional grid expansion cannot reach them fast enough. The report highlights a clear solution: decentralised renewable energy. Minigrids and off-grid solar systems are the fastest, most affordable, and most scalable way to close the access gap. At Husk Power, we’re proud to be building these decentralised solutions every day: ⚡ Solar-powered mini-grids for rural communities ♻️ Clean cooking access through electric appliance sales 💸 Innovative financing models that unlock energy access for all 🌱 Impact-driven partnerships that power progress sustainably The report also sends a call to action: 🌐 Greater international financial support is urgently needed to scale decentralised energy and ensure no one is left behind—especially in sub-Saharan Africa and other vulnerable regions. Husk Power is committed to accelerating this transition and invites global partners, investors, and policymakers to work together towards universal access. Let’s power communities, enable livelihoods, and achieve SDG 7—not tomorrow, but today. 📖 Read the full report here: https://lnkd.in/dGXvvsx #SDG7 #EnergyAccess #DecentralisedEnergy #MiniGrids #CleanCooking #RenewableEnergy #ClimateAction #HuskPower #ImpactInvestment #PoweringProgress
