📣 Over the past two weeks, HOPE has joined powerful advocacy efforts to protect our communities from harmful ICE enforcement in sensitive zones. As a partner of the College4All Coalition (@college4allca), we showed up in support of AB 49 (Muratsuchi) and SB 98 (Pérez), bills that would ban ICE activity on school campuses without a judicial warrant, and submitted formal support for SB 81 (Arreguín), which would prohibit ICE enforcement at hospitals. 📚🏥 These policies help ensure all community members can access education and healthcare safely regardless of immigration status. ✊🏽 Thank you to the champions and partners leading the way! #College4All #ImmigrantRights #SafeZones #AB49 #SB98 #SB81 #HOPEAdvocates
