  • 🤝 Meet Hamed Harizi who joined Chipotle in 2013 as a crew member. Despite not having restaurant experience at the time, Hamed was determined to make the most of his opportunity.   🎓 Hamed’s manager, Team Director Mark Pasquale, encouraged him to pursue higher education. Utilizing our debt-free degree program through Guild, Hamed earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Leadership and Management and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Bellevue University. 🏅 Guided by his tireless efforts and supportive peers and mentors, Hamed became a General Manager. In 2019, Hamed's Regional Vice President Jose Ortiz empowered him to take an extended vacation so he could visit Tunisia and spend time with his family, who he hadn’t seen in 11 years. 📈 Today, Hamed is celebrating over a decade with Chipotle and is now a Field Leader, focused on developing three Certified Training Managers into Field Leaders and providing the same support he once received. 📢 Hamed says he is grateful for Chipotle for helping him feel safe and included, respecting his culture and beliefs and creating an environment where he can grow and thrive. We are beyond lucky to have Hamed as an emerging leader in our organization!

  • This week, our SERVES Employee Resource Group and summer interns at the Newport Beach RSC volunteered at The Ecology Center in San Juan Capistrano, CA. 🌱 Together, they spent the day harvesting flowers, clearing invasive plants and learning about the objectives of the 28-acre Regenerative Organic Certified™ farm.   • At the 2025 Scripps National Spelling Bee, we brought back the 🐝 Chipotle Bee, For Real 🐝, inviting young spellers to face off with two very different word lists. ❌ One featured complicated, artificial ingredients commonly used by other national restaurant brands, words like "sorbitan monostearate," "non-chlorofluorocarbon propellant," and "pentosanase." 🥑 The other? Only the 53 real, nourishing ingredients found in Chipotle's food. Think cilantro, avocado, tomato and red onion, just to name a few!

  • 📅 In 2021, Logan Smith joined Chipotle as a crew member in our Bloomingdale, IL restaurant and enrolled in our debt-free degree program through Guild. ⏩ Fast forward to today - Logan holds a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from Bellevue University and started this week as our newest Cybersecurity Engineer in our Newport Beach Restaurant Support Center! 🏆 This milestone for Logan is a direct reflection of his dedication and the transformative impact of our debt-free degree program, which has helped shape his path toward his dream career.   • Hosted by the International Executive Council (IEC) at the Pacific Club in Newport Beach, CA, CEO Scott Boatwright joined Sinan Kanatsiz, IEC co-founder, for an in-depth conversation on Chipotle.
