I will request them to prepare value stream map together for both the suggested process to better understand their suggested process. And ask them to prepare FMEA (Failure mode Effect Analysis) with my supervision to understand what can go wrong and process to get it corrected. By applying these 2 six sigma tools the team together will analyze and come up with best solution to go ahead. As per my experience consensus decision is always a better decision to move ahead.

To unify the team's conflicting opinions on control system robustness, I would facilitate a collaborative discussion where each member can present their perspectives and concerns. By focusing on data-driven analysis, simulations, and real-world case studies, we can evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each approach. The goal would be to find common ground by prioritizing system stability, reliability, and performance while aligning with the overall project objectives. Encouraging open communication and fostering a solution-oriented mindset will ensure the team works together to develop the best approach.

Clarify the Differences Organize a discussion or workshop to allow each team member to articulate their viewpoints clearly. Use a structured approach, such as a pros and cons list or a decision matrix, to frame each perspective, ensuring all voices are heard.
