    I agree with all of these strategies but would add one more: Spend time everyday working with your data. As both researcher and mentor of students, I often find that data analysis is "put off" (maybe not the most fun task). However, like writing, you should have a schedule and attend to data analysis tasks throughout the research life cycle.

    All of these are great strategies that I use! I also keep track of time spent on different tasks on my work calendar to help me assess how much time I am spending on different tasks. This helps me plan ahead and strategize for upcoming deadlines and commitments outside of research.
