How do you track the progress of your organizing sessions?

Photos and even videos of before-to-after transitions, as well as yourself or your team working can’t be beat. They’re especially great for social media fodder and advertising, but it is imperative that your client have the ability to opt out of such photos, and that you work to ensure that the identity of the client is not made obvious through your pictures. This can be accomplished by removing or digitally blurring out family photos, or art or degrees that contain names. Your contract should be very specific about the photos and videos you may take and the ways you might utilize them, and provide an easy opt-out option, which can be as simple as, “Initial here to opt out of having your photos or videos shared.”

I often have clients who come back to me after several months or even several years and I love that I can revisit my notes to see what we did and what their pain points were back then and compare it to what they are currently needing. It is great for building trust with your client. When you recall memories from the sessions you had with your clients, you add value to who you are. My clients love it when I can recall and discuss things from our last visit. It's documenting and discussing the little details that build rapport with your clients.

Getting that first insight into what help the client needs. Then through the proposal process, meeting with a client face to face to understand more deeply their challenges and requirements. This then gets consolidated proposal and plan with each space mapped out / estimated hrs and any products required. This gives the client confidence and clarity in what they’ll will get. Taking before and after pics helps to see the transformation but it’s really the way the client feels after our sessions that highlights this. Mostly then captured via a testimonial.
